Ernest Larnack

Source characterization: RAW

Role: The Watcher family’s aide/recruiter

Key characterization principles:

• Tasked with scouting and privately inviting promising outsiders (i.e., potentially the party) to a private dinner, to assess their usefulness against the Baron.
• [IDEA — NONCANONICAL] 2026-09-27 / 10-08 ideation (Session 11 prep): Fiona’s money-grubbing spy — “Fiona’s Rahadin.” Moves around town listening to townsfolk and feeds her information. Per RAW he knows her secrets and would blackmail her if their relationship soured. He has no motive of his own beyond hers, so he isn’t a separate faction. On the party’s night outside the walls he may be shadowing Izek to map his patrol route, because Fiona is considering having Izek assassinated. If spotted, he gauges how the party feels about Izek and sizes them up as allies for Lady Watcher — the party’s way into the Watcher thread.

Current narrative status: Not yet encountered in play.
