Stanimir

Source characterization: Dragnacarta’s raw characterization, retained

Role: Vistani elder/caravan master, loyal to Madam Eva since childhood

Key characterization principles:

  • Loyal to Madam Eva since childhood; she effectively raised him. Enjoys traveling.
  • Core trait carried over from Dragnacarta: believes there is a “grain of truth” in every story someone tells, even if the literal content isn’t accurate — a trusting, wise-man archetype.
  • More cautious/wary about the Pie Mill than Eliza — not outright suspicious, just guarded (a deliberate characterization contrast between the two Vistani).
  • Slotted to tell the reworked Lugdana tale at the planned campfire storytelling scene (reassigned from the “Vistani can leave” parable, which now goes to Eliza) — framed in-fiction as a story about “his best friend,” tying to Ismark’s great-grandfather-era history and gesturing toward Yester Hill.
  • Deliberately placed last in the campfire story order as a pacing safety valve — he can skip his turn if the table’s energy flags.

Current narrative status: Confirmed — the campfire storytelling scene was completed in Session 9. Stanimir told the planned Lugdana/Holy Symbol of Ravenkind poem, largely as outlined; the table judged it a half-truth (“Lugdana surely existed… we do not know where she is”). Ireena’s own story slot (the wolf-chase nightmare vehicle planned in The campfire storytelling scene) was not used this session — still open for a future session.
