Henrik van der Voort

Source characterization: RAW (Vallaki’s coffin maker)

Role: Vallaki’s coffin maker; secretly hosting a vampire spawn nest in his house

Key characterization principles:

• GM-confirmed canon (2026-10-14): Henrik is hosting a vampire spawn nest at his house. When Arabelle’s clairvoyance led her there on her 7th birthday, he kidnapped her so she couldn’t tell anyone. He doesn’t want her to die, so he is hiding her in the house and hoping the spawn don’t notice her.
• [IDEA — NONCANONICAL] 2026-09-27 / 10-08 ideation (Section 16): per RAW, the church gravedigger Milivoj steals St. Andral’s bones and hands them to Henrik. The vampire spawn in his shop are one condition for the Feast of St. Andral attack.
• Still open (Section 14): why he hosts the spawn, who they answer to, and what would make them notice Arabelle.

Current narrative status: Not yet encountered in play; his name hasn’t been spoken at the table.
