REVISION [IDEA — NONCANONICAL, unresolved]: A worldbuilding session floated Void Child as actually being a remnant of the corrupted Winter Fane — specifically the fragment of her that still carries innocence and a desire for companionship, predating her full pact with Mother Night/the Dark Powers. Under this framing, Void Child’s fear/fascination with Madam Eva makes sense: she feels drawn to and terrified of her without understanding why, because Madam Eva (Autumn Fane) was part of the group that effectively rejected/pushed her out. This directly conflicts with the Elder Evil/aboleth-god framing above and has not been reconciled. Both versions remain live until you decide — this affects Gaille’s item entry and Session 0.5d’s established Miri/Resin Shrine/doroq lore either way. See Cosmology for the full Fanes mythology this ties into.
